The Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC) is your hub for academic development and professionalization. The GSRC develops and coordinates various opportunities and events with one goal in mind: To help you succeed both in your studies and on the job market. We help UCR graduate students to not only become outstanding, well-rounded, and healthy scholars, but also become confident and informed professionals who are prepared for beginning rewarding careers.

GSRC offers a holistic approach for helping you reach your personal and professional goals. The GSRC can help you in the following ways:

• Direct you to various UCR campus resources that can help you with your studies — no matter what point you are at in your program

• Aid you in both finding and applying for fellowships, scholarships, post-docs, campus funding, and internships

• Guide you in various aspects of your professional development, including composing a CV, conceptualizing a professional website to showcase you and your work, or creating other professional documents

• Help you in both your search and preparation for the academic and non-academic job markets

• Assist you in seeking out, applying for, and attending conferencing opportunities

• Provide you with information about volunteer, community outreach, and other service opportunities

• Inform you of graduate student-oriented campus events and happenings
